This is a prototype project to display maps of cemeteries along with the Civil War Vermonters buried in them, using Google Maps technology.

The graphic above is a satellite photograph version of Gettysburg National Cemetery. If you click on the 'Map' button on the top right, it will present a road-map rendition of the cemetery. The buttons on the left will allow you to zoom in and out, and move in any direction. You can also zoom in and out using your mouse by double-clicking on a spot, and you can move the map by holding your left-mouse button down and moving it in the direction you want to go. If you get lost, click on refresh, and the map will return to its original size and location.
