Biography

JOSEPH BROWN volunteered from the town of North Hero, Vt., September 11th, 1862 at the age of 18, and joined Company H. Served his term in the 13th Regiment and returned home; and on the 17th of November, 1863, re-enlisted and into Company D, 1st Vt. Cav. Was transfered to Company C, June 21st, 1865, and was mustered out August, 1865.
