Obituary

Condensed State News.

William C. Butler died July 15 of consumption at the Vermont Soldiers' Home. He was a member of Co. F, 1st Vt. Cav.; enlisted September 9, 1861; mustered out November 18, 1864; admitted to the Home November 30, 1887; death No. 33. He was buried at Brattleboro. Comrade Butler was a member of Sedgwick post and a past commander of the organization.
