Charles F. Carlton, an inmate of the Soldiers home, died in the hospital of that institution this morning following a lingering illness. He was born in Cavendish, Oct. 30, 1846 and was admitted from that town to the home Jan. 1, 1913. He was a member of Co. G, 17th Vt. The body will be taken Wednesday morning to Cavendish for burial.Contributed by Tom Boudreau.
