David R. Carpenter

David R. Carpenter, aged 83, for many years a successful farmer in Charlotte, died at his home in Hinesburg yesterday afternoon after a short illness.

Mr. Carpenter is survived by one son, Clarence; by three grandchildren, all of Hinesburg; by one brother, Joseph of Burlington.

Funeral for Mr. Carpenter will be held at 1:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon at his late home. Burial will be in Lake View cemetery in this city.
