William T. Carswell

The Vermont Journal, February 4, 1865

In the prison camp at Andersonville, Ga., Aug. 1864, William T. Carswell, son of Norman W. and Mary E. Carswell, of Windsor, aged 21 years. In Dec. 1863, he enlisted at Danville, in the 1st Vt. Cavalry, with which he served until he was taken prisoner at Cold Harbor in June last.
