Biography
JESSE P. CHIPMAN
Enlisted from Huntington, Vt., September 10, 1862, at the age of 21 years, as a private in Company F, 13th Vt. Vol. Inf., and mustered into the service October 10, 1862. Mustered out July 21, 1863, and again enlisted July 26, 1864 and mustered into the service as second sergeant of Company K, 17th Vt. Vol. Inf., August 22, 1864, and out of service July 14, 1865. Now resides at Friend, Saline Co., Nebraska.
