Stephen R. Colby

St. Johnsbury Caledonian-Record

Sept. 23, 1914

Stephen R. Colby of Montpelier, for 30 years a conductor on the Barre branch of the Central Vermont died Sept. 21, from heart failure. He was found by two policemen on the steps of the Federal building. He was a Civil War veteran and 70 years old. His wife dropped dead on the street a few years ago.
