Remarks: See additional information below. A Cook family plot was found in the section of Maplehurst Cemetery that is up in back. Included in this plot is a stone with the initials "MC". We have not yet been able to confirm that this is the marker for this soldier. No other marker for him was found in this cemetery. WPA Graves Registration Card recorded the location of this grave as in the Fairbanks Farm Family Cemetery which is an alternate name for Maplehurst Cemetery.
