Oliver W. Cross passed away at the home of his son, Sam Cross, Monday morning. He had been in poor health for some time but was confined to the house only three days, before his death. Mr. Cross was a veteran of the Civil war and was about 70 years old. The funeral services were held at the house Wednesday afternoon and Rev. Mr. Martin officiated. He was laid to rest in the Eddy cemetery.
