Barnard Aaron P. Cutler died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. A. A. Church, Monday afternoon, Sept. 29, after a long illness. He was 74 years old. He had served three years in the Civil war, belonging to Co. E, 3rd Vt. Services were held at the home Wednesday afternoon, Rev. J. C. Hazelton officiating. His favorite hymns were sung, "Waiting and Watching For Me" and "God Be With You Till We Meet Again." The remains were take to Northfield Thursday morning, where services were held at Chase Chapel, Rev. J. B. Sargent of Northfield officiating; bearers. Abiah Church, Harry Church, Charles Pervier and A. M. Cutler.
