Alvaro Darling died last Thursday morning after a lingering illness from tuberculosis. The deceased was 74 years of age, a Civil War veteran, and is survived by three sons, Maurice E. and Vernon M. of this place and Fay of Rumney, N.H., and one daughter, Effie, who nursed him in his long illness. Funeral services were held from the house Sunday at 1 p.m., Rev. F.R. Keeler officiating.
