Obituary
Jacob Downing died at his home here Monday morning after a month's illness following a shock. Mr. Downing was 79 years of age and has lived alone the past 20 years of his life. He was a soldier in the Civil war. The funeral was held from the house and interment was in the Willoughby cemetery.
