The death of William H. Dyer, an inmate of the Vermont Soldiers' Home occurred in the hospital there yesterday afternoon. Mr. Dyer had been confined to the hospital since entering the home from Rutland on February 19 last. Death was due to heart failure. The deceased was 65 years of age, was a member of Company G, 5th Vermont Regiment. The funeral arrangements have not been completed but the burial will be in the home cemetery.
