Rutland Daily Herald, Aug. 18, 1898:

Albert W. Edson died yesterday at his home, at 50 Church street, at the age of 54 years. He was a member of Roberts post, Grand Army of the Republic, and of Rutland lodge of Masons. The funeral services, which will be held at the house tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock, will be in charge of the Rutland lodge. The members of the Grand Army of the Republic will meet at the hall at 1.30 o'clock and attend the funeral.
