Obituary
Death of James Ellis.
James Ellis, who died Tuesday at his home in East Putney, was a veteran of the Civil war. The funeral was held Thursday at 10 o'clock. He leaves a son, Dr. De Wise Ellis of Walpole, N. H. , and grandchildren. A brother, John Ellis of East Putney, also a Civil war veteran, and a sister, Mrs. Jennie M. Wood, of West hill, who has kept house for him since Mrs. Ellis's death. The burial took place in the new cemetery in Westminster.
