Shelburne – Oct. 23. - Ransom Fargo, a life long resident of Shelburne and a veteran of the Civil War who died here on Monday at the age of 72, had been in poor health for some time. About a year ago he was operated upon in Burlington for Bright's disease and never fully recovered. He is survived by a widow and two sons, Charles and Dennis who reside here. The funeral will be held at the family home on Wednesday with Rev. W. F. Weeks officiating, and singing by the Episcopal choir.
