Deaths:
In Weston, Sept. 11th of camp fever, Alonzo Farley, aged 46 years. The deceased was a member of Co. C. 16th Vt. Reg., and was at the battle of Gettysburg and in all the other actions in which that regiment was engaged. He contracted his disorder in the army and continued to grow worse after his arrival home, until death claimed its victim. He leaves a wife and children who are inconsolable for his loss: he being a devoted husband and kind father.Contributed by Cathy Hoyt.
