Obituary

Thomas Fitzsimmons

Thomas Fitzsimmons, Civil War veteran and retired customs house employee, died in Montreal Wednesday evening at 7:30 o'clock at the age of 87 years. Mr. Fitzsimmons lived in Burlington for many years, serving as foreman the Shepard & Morse Lumber Company.

He is survived by one son, Fred Fitzsimmons of Jersey City; by one daughter, Mrs. Myra Travis of Jersey City; and by one nephew, John Fitzsimmons of Burlington.

The body will be brought to Burlington for burial in St Joseph's cemetery. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
