Levi Goddard died Saturday night, February 27, with pneumonia. He was 63 years of age, and leaves besides his wife one daughter, Bessie, and a son, Bennie, also an aged mother, one brother and two sisters. He was in Co. C, Sixth Vermont volunteers, and was twice wounded. The funeral was held at his late home Wednesday afternoon. The H. H. Baxter Post, of which he was a member, attended in a body. Interment was in Mr. Pleasant cemetery.
