"DIED. DOW - In Oakland, at 680 Thirty-fourth street, entered into rest, March 21, 1901, Augustus, beloved husband of Mrs. A. Dow, and father of Mrs. G[ordon] M. Stolp and Mrs. E[lizabeth] Yorker, a native of Newmarket, N. H., aged 76 years.
