STATE NEWS -- We were somewhat in error in our issue of Saturday morning, concerning the shooting affray at "Shingle Hollow". It appears the man name who was killed was John Grace, and that he did not shoot either Jones, or his wife, but that Jones stabbed him, inflicting several dangerous wounds, and then shot him. One of the party that was with Grace said that two shots were fired at him by Jones, and two by a man named Fitzpatrick, Jones' bookkeeper, who in company with Jones is in confinement.
