BIOGRAPHY

DAN GRANDY enlisted from Waitsfield and was born in that town. He was 24 years old and nearly 6 ft. high, but rather slim. For some reason he did not seem to endure hardships as well as some and was sent to general hospital in March. Mustered out with the regiment. He married Laura Parker of Waitsfield who survives him. He died at Waitsfield June 18, 1895. Children Nellie, Angie, Fred and Frank.
