West Windsor
Another old veteran has gone in the passing away of M. A. Herrick last Friday afternoon, April 12. He had been in failing health the past year. Tuesday, April 11 he suffered a shock from which he did not rally. He was a member of Co. A. 12th Vermont in the Civil war. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon. Rev. H. C. Heselton officiating. Those present from out of town were E. W. King and wife of Springfield, E. English and wife and Miss Ellen Bagley of Hartland, L. E. Dean and Frieda Herrick of Windsor, Mrs. Ada Stowell and Leighton Robinson of Gardner, Ma.Contributed by Cathy Hoyt.
