William H. Edmunds

Rutland Daily Herald, Oct. 26, 1915:

L.D. Edmunds and Willis R. Edmunds of this city have received word of the death of their father, W.H. Edmunds, which occurred Sunday at his home in Bethel. Mr. Edmunds, who was a dealer in lumber, was born in Danby August 27, 1840, but for man years had lived in Bethel.

He is survived by his wife, five sons, L.D., and Willis R., of this city, George W. and Fred A., of Bethel and Louis F. of Royalton, three daughters, Miss Myrtle H. Edmunds of Chittenden, Mrs. Albert Newell and Mrs. E. McIntyre of Bethel and one brother, R.F. Edmunds of Middletown Springs.

The funeral will be held at his late home at Bethel this afternoon at 2 o'clock and burial will be in Evergreen cemetery this city tomorrow morning. A special electric car will leave for the cemetery at 11.10 o'clock.
