Aaron Hinckley died yesterday morning at 10:40 o'clock at his home, No. 28 Granger Street, after a long illness. He was born in Rutland, June 7, 1831, and always lived here. He enlisted as a private in company A, 14th Vermont volunteers, and served until honorably discharged at the close of the war. He was a member of the Rutland G.A.R. post. On March 14, 1889, he had a severe stroke of paralysis, followed by another on the 2d of the present month, and the last and final one on the 5th, resulting in death. He left a widow and five sons and daughters. The funeral will be held at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church at 9 o'clock Saturday morning.
