Obituary
Charles Edwards died Nov. 8th after a lingering illness, aged seventy-six years. He was born in Laconia, N. H., but spent most of his life in this town. He has one son, but he was not present at the funeral, which took place on Wednesday at his home. His granddaughter, who lives in Michigan, did not arrive in time for the services but his son-in-law, Mr. Lapham from the Adirondacks was present and a large number neighbors and old acquaintances. The funeral was conducted by Rev. Mr. Sawyer and he was buried in Townline cemetery by the side of his wife, who died a little more than a year ago.
