George Ellis, about 80, a veteran of the Civil War, died at 8 o'clock this morning in his home in Chesterfield, N.H. He had been seriously ill with a bronchial trouble. Mr. Ellis leaves his wife and several children. They lived on the W. J. Wagar place.
