CIVIL WAR VETERAN DIES SUDDENLY.
Curtis A. Howard of Middletown Springs, a veteran of the Civil War, died suddenly of heart disease when shoveling snow from the path to house Sunday evening. Since the war he had been an employee of the A. W. Gray's Sons Horse Power company. He leaves no family, his wife having died some years ago. The funeral was held Wednesday at 2 o'clock.
