Obituary
PITTSFORD
W. S. Humphrey, who has been in failing health for some time, died at his home here Saturday night. He was born in Rutland March 7, 1841. Mr. Humphrey enlisted in company B, second Vermont, in 1861, and served until discharged for disability. He was a member of Roberts post, G.A.R., Rutland. He is survived by one son, Linus E. Humphrey of Pittsford, and by five daughters, Mrs. F. H. Baldwin and Mrs. M. L. Gleason of Rutland, Mrs. W. H. Squire of Proctor and Mrs. D. B. Bogue and Miss Marion L. Humphrey of Pittsford. The funeral which will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Congregational church parlors, will be in charge of Roberts post.
