The funeral of Charles Hunt was held at the church Sunday afternoon at two o'clock, Rev. R. H. Tibbals of South Londonderry officiating. Mr. Hunt was for many years a resident of Peru, removing a few years ago to South Londonderry. He was a veteran of the civil war, very kind, and obliging neighbor, always pleasant and sweet tempered he will be missed by all who knew him. He died Friday evening after a short illness, though his health had been feeble for some time, his death was unexpected. He is survived by one son, Walter L. Hunt of South Londonderry and four grandchildren. He was 78 years of age.
