Charles F. Huntoon

Rutland Daily Herald & Globe, Feb. 7, 1881

Charles F. Huntoon, the oldest son of the late Josiah Huntoon, died at his mother's residence, No. 120 Main street, Rutland, on Saturday morning. He has had consumption for years, and was obliged to retire from the firm of Landon & Huntoon some five years ago in consequence of this disease, and has not been engaged in active business since. He was a very social, companionable gentleman, and much esteemed by all who knew him, and most so by those who knew him intimately. His funeral will be attended at No. 120 Main street, Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
