Obituary
DEATH OF MASON B. JENKINS
Civil War Veteran Died Yesterday at Age of 77 Years.
Graniteville lost a life-long resident in the death of Mason B. Jenkins, which occurred yesterday morning at 2 o'clock, after an illness of abuit four years. Mr. Jenkins was 77 years of age and veteran of the Civil war, where he served in the 8th Vermont regiment, Company D. He left a wife and three sons, William E. of Washington, Vt., and Alfred B. and Henry J. of Graniteville. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Presbyterian church in Graniteville. The family requests that there be no flowers.
