Obituary
John Keenan, a native of this town and a Civil War veteran, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Patnode, at North Hero, Friday, aged 76 years. Mr. Keenan was a member of Burton's sharpshooters. Besides Mrs. Patnode he leaves another daughter, Mrs. William Green of Weehawken, N.J. A son, Lee Keenan, was crushed to death under a load of saw logs at West Swanton a number of years ago. The interment was at West Swanton yesterday.
