Obituary

AROUND THE CAMPFIRE

Rufus B. Kirk, aged 69 years, late of Co. H, 10th Vermont regiment, who has been a member of the Vermont Soldiers’ Home at Bennington since November, 1898, died at Weston, Vt., January 25.

Rufus B. Kirk, an inmate of the Soldiers Home, died last week of pneumonia in Weston, where he had been for a short time on furlough. He was a member of Co. H, 10th Vermont Infantry. This is the 106th death that has been recorded at the home.
