DEATH OF HORATIO KNIGHT
Horatio Knight died Monday morning at his home on Andover street after a long period of invalidism. He was past 70 years of age and had lived here more than 50 years. He is survived by his widow and by two sons, John Knight and Ernest Knight of this place. He was employed in the local woolen mills during his active life. Mr. Knight was a veteran of the Civil war and enlisted at Putney, August 20, 1861 in Co. F, 4th regiment Vermont volunteers; re-enlisted December 15, 1863; wounded May 5, 1864 in the battle of the Wilderness; mustered out July 13, 1865, after having served nearly four years.
