Obituary

John A. Fitch, Esq., of the law firm of Ballard, Burleson & Fitch of St. Albans, died on Wednesday of typhoid fever. Mr. Fitch was born in Sheldon, April 25, 1859. He graduated from Middlebury e in 1862 and enlisted in the 12th Vt. Vols., serving as sergeant of company E. After the war he located in Highgate and began the practice of the law. He took up his residence in St. Albans last year.
