Obituary

South Sheffield: Friday morning Jefferson Ladd died from taking poison, one week from the death of his wife. Mr. Ladd received a pension, and they were in comfortable circumstances, owing to back pay. His funeral was held at his late home Sunday afternoon, Rev. H. Cummings conducting the services.
