Obituary
BRANDON
Death of Lewis LaRock, 87, Civil War VeteranLewis LaRock, age 87 years, died at his home in Forest Dale, Tuesday, after a long illness. He was born in Canada, February 18, 1844, the son of John and Margaret (LeClair) LaRock. He is survived by his widow, Pauline Fortier LaRock, three daughters, Mrs. Frank Anoe, Mrs. Hiram Berner and Miss Rose LaRock of Forest Dale; one son, Frank LaRock of North Creek, N.Y., and one brother, Frank LaRock of Brandon and 11 grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. Mr. LaRock has been a resident of Forest Dale for 50 years. He was a member of C. J. Ormsbee Post, being a veteran of the Civil War, serving in the 2nd Battery Vermont Light Artillery. The funeral services will be held this morning at St. Mary's Catholic Church at 9 o'clock, the Rev. E. J. Howard officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery in Brandon.
