BENSON
Funeral of Eugene S. LeeThe funeral of Eugene S. Lee, Civil war veteran, was held at the house Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. Auton Beza officiating. The bearers were member so of the American Legion, burial being in West View cemetery. The relatives present form out of town were two cousins, Mrs. Manning and Mrs. Edward Allen of Rutland.
Mr. Lee was born in Castleton, October 31, 1841 but had lived many years in this town. He is survived by two sisters, Misses Lucy and Anna Lee with whom he lived and by two nieces in Illinois, formerly Misses Sarah and Louise Guernsey.
