Remarks: WPA Graves Registration Card indicates that this is a cenotaph. The card includes the following inscription: "Henry S. son of Dwight and Susan Loveland, A member of Co. A 1st Vt. Vol. died and was buried at Fort McHenry, Md. Nov. 10, 1862 Age 28 yrs." The inscription was documented in the late 1930s and is no longer readable on the headstone.
