Died in Camp near Brandy Station, March 4th of lung fever, Carlos S. Macomber, aged 26 years. He was a member of the 6th Regiment, Co. D, Vt. Vols. His body rests among his kindred near the home of his childhood where loved ones weep, yet not as those who have no hope, for the believer to died is gain.
