Obituary
A LEADING CITIZEN
Carroll McKnight, one of the best known citizens of this place died this forenoon at ten o'clock of pleurisy. He was a veteran of the Civil War, having been a member of the 11th Vermont. He held many town offices, and was also representative to the state legislature.
