WIDELY KNOWN VETERAN
George Minor, 83, Died at St. Albans and Was Buried in Fairfax.

St. Albans, March 9. - The funeral of George Minor, 83, one of the few surviving veterans of the Civil war here, was held here today with burial in Fairfax. Mr. Minor, who leaves nine children, was long an active member and officer of the local G. A. R. Post and had a wide acquaintance among veterans through the states.
