Death of Edgar K. Montague Veteran of Civil War.

Edgar K. Montague, aged 74 years, died at his home on Main st., Thursday noon after a long illness. The funeral was held at the house Sunday afternoon at 1 o'clock, the Rev. G.W. Burke of Bellows Falls, and the Rev. Fred Daniels officiating. Four nephews of the deceased from Lowell were the bearers. The burial was in the family lot at Binghamville where the family formerly resided. Mr. Montague is survived by his wife; two daughters, Mrs. H.R. Bellows, and Mrs. M. E. Shedd; two sons, Rufus, of Santa Barbara, Cal., and Leon of this place; also by two brothers, Daniel Kingsley, of Worcester, Mass., who attended the funeral, and Guy Kingsley, of Iowa. Mr. Montague was one seven brothers, five of whom. Including Mr. Montague, served in the Civil War.
