Obituary

Died at Soldiers' Home

Silas Newman, aged 67 years, died at the soldiers' home hospital, Bennington, Tuesday evening October 20, having been taken there from his home near North Bennington in the afternoon. Death was due to pneumonia. The deceased was a member of Company A, 4th Vt. Regt., during the Civil War.
