Found Dead In Road
Willard Olds, Civil War Veteran, Victim of Heart Disease
(Special to The Messenger.)

Highgate, Jan. 25. -- The body of Willard Olds, a veteran of the Civil War, was found yesterday morning beside the road, near the Decker crossing, almost one mile north of Swanton. He had been subject to attacks of heart disease, and one of these probably caused his death. He was about 68 years old. He is survived by a son, William Olds, and a daughter, Mrs. Edward Lawrence, both of this town.
