Obituary

Bennington Banner, June 29, 1915 The funeral of Zachariah Paddock, aged 77, was held Monday afternoon from his late residence on Elm street, Rev. W. F. Meyer, pastor of the Baptist church, officiating. The burial was in the Old Bennington cemetery. Mr. Paddock, who was a veteran of the civil war and a member of the local G.A.R. post, is survived by a widow and three sons, Fillmore and Warren of Bennington, and Charles of Arlington, and three daughters, Mrs. Joseph Manuel and Miss Charity and Miss Fannie of Bennington.
