Georgte W. T. Perkins, aged nearly 78, died suddenly soon after his breakfast at the Soldiers' home Friday morning. He was born in Haverhill, N.H., Nov. 6, 1844. He enlisted in Co. G, ninth Vermont,July 12, 1862, from Haverhill as a private, and was mustered out June 13, 1865. He went to the home Feb. 9, 1919, and though he had several furloughs, reemained on the roll ever since.
