Obituary

MIDDLEBURY

News has been received of the death at Valley Springs, S. D., of Silas A. Pinney, a former resident of Cornwall and Middlebury. He was born in the former town in 1842 – served in the 14th Vermont during the Civil War and engaged in the live stock business in Cornwall until he went West in 1873.
