Obituary

MIDDLEBURY

News has been received of the death at Valley Springs, S. D., of Silas A. Pinney, a former resident of Cornwall and Middlebury. He was born in the former town in 1842 served in the 14th Vermont during the Civil War and engaged in the live stock business in Cornwall until he went West in 1873.
